Fly

In a more wooded part of the savanna, a long stream flows through the territory. Close to the end, a small waterfall provides almost a rockpool. Sometimes in hot days elders will come wade in the water and sunbath on the rocks. The occasional fish is caught, although most WingClan cats can't really fish.

Hollyfire gently walks along the stream, her paws creating small ripples in the flowing water behind her. I cant get that cat out of my head... Wheatley..... he's such a strange yet charming tom...Hollyfire shakes her head "When did i become such a mousebrain?" she mews softly.

Wheatley padded along the stream, his steps faltering every few steps as his mind went back to her. That she-cat. He gave a slightly lopsided grin and almost fell into the stream, having spotted her just along the way. Incidently, he did fall into the stream though it only came up to his belly fur. He shrugged his shoulders slightly and sighed, gazing back at that beautiful she-cat. Could he actually like him? Maybe she didn't spot him...

Hollyfires eyes narrow and focous on Wheatley. She lets out a soft chuckle "are you out for a swim? i didnt think other cats liked the water." she teases as she easily wades into deeper water and swims over to him without making a sound.

"Well...I'm not perticularly sure if I like the water, I don't think any cat does. It is pleasant isn't it? Not all togather a bad feeling." Wheatley said, rambling on slightly as he started to get a grip back on his senses. "I guess it's lucky I'm so tall. I don't think I even know how to swim. I kind of...fell in. Not by accident though. I thought I saw something intersting in the water and it looked dangerous. I'm not afraid."

Hollyfire smirks and flicks Wheatleys nose with the tip of her tail "Oh really? Something dangerous?" She looks at the riverbed "I dont see anything ecept for pebbles and mud." Hollyfire looks up into his eyes and smiles "What did you see?" 

"Well I can't really remember now...It was pretty big though. Bigger than my paws. I swear it was there!" Wheatley told her, his gray face growing red with slight embarassment. He was making a fool of himself infront of this wonderful she-cat. What was wrong with him? "Well...um...that isn't important. What brings you along this neck of the woods?" He asked, trying to ignore his fur that was sticking out at  the sides.

"Well this is Wingclan territory,  and I decided to go out hunting. What are you doing here?" Hollyfire pads back to the grass and starts to dry her paws "You should dry off before you get sick, Wheatley ..." She mews in amusement

"Well....um..." Wheatley said rather flustered, glancing back over at Hollyfire. "Truthfully, I wanted to see you again." He said, blushing quite a bit though unsure why. "I know, it's silly." He told her, placing his tail on her shoulder to steady himself.

Hollyfire blushes and looks at the ground "Its not silly..... I wanted to see you too." She looks up at Wheatley and smiles softly.

Wheatley's face turned back up to hers, a wide lopsided smilie on his grey face. "Really? I mean...I didn't think you would. You sounded like you hated me before. I just thought that there was something about me. I never seemed to have any luck and I thought I didn't before..." He rambled, his face blushing more.

Hollyfire licks his ear "I didnt hate you.... I just.... I hide my feelings alot....after my parents died I had to become a parent to my little brother..... My sister isnt verry bright so i have to take care of my family."

"Oh..." Wheatley said and blushed, placing his tail towards her unconciously. I kind of actually like you....very much so I might add. You give me feelings I've never felt before. Feelings I didn't know I ever had. You make me ramble and get all flustered up. Just like I am now. He thought these words so pleadingly in his head, wishing he had the courage to actually tell her those words. He shielded his face from view and shuffled his paws.

Hollyfire blushes and looks down, twineing her tail with Wheatleys. I wish I could tell you I think I love you.... You break me out of the walls Ive put up.... You drive me insane because I cant get you out of my mind..... She thinks but dosent realize that she whispers it out loud.

Willowwater makes her way downstream.

Wheatley pauses as his ears hear her words, his heart about to leap out of his chest. "Really?" He whispers after a long pause, his blue eyes gazing into hers before he can really stop himself.

Hollyfire blushes and nods, looking into Wheatleys eyes with love "Yeah.... I-Do you.....feel the same?"

"Of course I do!" Wheatley exclaimed a little too excitedly, his eyes glowing as he looked into her eyes. "I think you're the most beautiful cat i've ever seen, not that that is the most important thing. I love the way you think. I love you for you." He told her with a smile, cocking his head to the side.

Hollyfire blushes and smiles softly, giving his muzzle a small lick "No one has ever told me im beautiful...." 

"That's because you hadn't found someone that wants to make you happy and will do anything just to see you smile. Hollyfire, love, I can't see another day without you." Wheatley told her, giving her muzzle a lick as well, smiling brighter.

"I cant either.... I wish you lived in the camp with me......." She frowns.
