Fly

Firepaw shoves his way between the two she-cats, his eyes filled with fire. "I may be an A-class idiot but will the two of you knock it off? Springpaw, Mosspaw is right and you know it, If Echopool didnt know what she does of wound care then I'd be like Tangelfoot." He nuges her with a gentleness he normaly wouldn't use when he is angrey "Go on, make up with her you stuborn she-cat or I'll not talk to you.....Besides I wanted to be a medicine cat"

Angelwing blinked her blue eyes open, looking around. She must've dozed off. Yawning, she got up and stretched her lean body. She walked over to Ashclaw and nudged him awake, a loving smirk on her face.

Ashclaw snorted and opened his stone gray gaze, looking up with malice before he saw it was his sister. Letting out a sigh, he stretched, much like his sister had done. "What is it?" he asked, his tone annoyed.

Angelwing grinned, lashing her tail and circling him. "You need to stop being such a loner and socialize for once. Make some friends. Hear that? Friends." she purred, droning out the syllables. "C'mon." she said, uttering an evil laugh.

Hailstorm nodded. "Very interesting." he said, thinking. "And you may go, let me know if you have any more trouble, alright?" he said, waving his tail.

Sparkpaw watched as Firepaw jumped in to stop the argument. He wished he had the guts to do that, but when it came to stuff like that he always just made things worse.

Hallowpaw smiles her first genuine smile in a long time as she dips her head "T-thank you,Hailstorm, I-i'll tell you as soon as posible if I have a-anymore dreams." She pads her way out of Hailstorms den and looks around for Runningpaw. When her eyes land on him she lets out a small sigh and sits next to him "H-Hello Runningpaw, I-I'm sorry about passing out on you... I-it must have scared you. " Hallowpaw drops her gaze to her paws, guilty that she made the tom worried, she could smell it and knew it was her fault.

Jaggedstorm sat in the camp clearing, watching everyone. 

Spottedheart groomed a piece of fur flat that had been sticking up at the wrong angle. 

Stormpaw sat silently just outside the apprentice's den. The solid grey tom flicked his ears and glanced at the other apprentices in the clearing. 

Sparkpaw moved away from Springpaw, Mosspaw, and Firepaw. He originally headed for the fresh-kill pile, but then he spotted Stormpaw and jogged over. "Hey." he said, sitting down heavily next to the grey apprentice.

Hailstorm smiled then went about his work with the coltsfoot. He would have to go out tomorrow and get more, maybe he could drag a couple apprentices along as well to help him carry herbs... Yes. He would ask Maplestar about that.

Stormpaw looked at Sparkpaw and blinked when the other tom came over. He nodded to the other apprentice, but stayed silent. He wasn't exactly the social type. 

Mosspaw's eyes suddenly blazed up in fury. How dare she accuse her of breaking the Warrior Code! And in front of other's too! Her fur bristled in indignation, but her fur also burned in embarrassment. Then, Firepaw was there, stepping in between them. Despite her anger, Springpaw's words hurt... True, she hung out with Hailstorm, but that didn't make her any less of a Warrior than Springpaw. "Don't bother, Firepaw. Her apology won't be sincere. Like anything she ever does is sincere..." she mewed, basically calling Springpaw a fake. It wasn't really true, but it just came out. Then, she turned around and stalked away, not waiting for the apology she doubted would even come. She made her way over to a solitary area and sat down, staring hard into the shadows of the edge of camp. She was so frusterated and angry with Springpaw, she felt tears welling in her eyes and she let out a small growl. Whenever she got angry or frusterated, she cried, and she hated that. It seemed weak, and when she was made, she hated feeling that way. 

Runningpaw looked up at Hallowpaw and blinked in surprise. Wait, wasn't that a bit backwards? "You're sorry? Hallowpaw, you collapsed! You have nothing to apologize for!" he mewed, just glad she wasn't blaming him for what happened. It seemed others were..... "I mean, are you alright?" he asked, shuffling his paws.

Thistlefrost made his way back into camp and looked at Silverstep. "I'll let Maplestar know that Wheatley's gone," he mewed with a small nod to the other warrior. Then, he made his way through the clearing, looking for the leader.

Sparkpaw sighed. "So... theres a night ambush tonight. Not sure if its for all the apprentices or what, but it sounds interesting." he said to Stormpaw, relaxing as he saw Mosspaw walk away. He never liked fights and he was totally useless when it came to stopping them.

Hailstorm trotted out of his den after taking care of all his herbs. He noticed Mosspaw and winced inwardly. something had happened, he knew, and he wanted to ask her what, but he knew if she wanted to talk about it she would come to him. So he just continued on his way to Springpaw and Firepaw, taking his time.

Hallowpaw nods "Y-yes, I-im fine...for now." She looks up at him with a smile "Y-your really nice, y-your nothing like Springpaw said..." She curls her lip in discust "I-i don't like her, S-she too bossy and s-she picks on cats....I-if Firepaw didn't stay with her i-i'd bet she wouldn't have any friends." Hallowpaw sighs and looks at the sky, "Would y-you like to team up for t-the night abush? i-i thought it out and if we make a team we would have a better chance of beating Springpaw and everyone else...."

Hollyfire nods "I think you should talk to Hailstorm about that, Hallowpaw was really shaken," she closes her eyes in thought "she said something about not to leave her." She notices Mosspaw out of the corner of her eye and frowns as she bows her head "I hope I'll see you at the ambush tonight." she pads over to Mosspaw  "Whats wrong?"

Runningpaw blinked in surprise at the complement, his fur heating. He wasn't used to that... As she offered to be partner's he blinked. "Oh....uh...well, sure. I mean...yes," he stammered out, embarrassed. The first person to truly be kind and he was a stuttering mousebrained. But Hallowpaw seemed nervous as well.... "Yeah, I'd like that," he finally said, a solid reply. He gave a tentative smile, as if he let himself truly smile he'd break the illusion of her actually being friendly...

Mosspaw looked over as Hollyfire approached before staring back at the ground, fighting back her frustration-tears. "Nothing. I'm fine," she mewed. She figured her mentor would never buy that though, she she amended, "I'll be fine." Hollyfire had enough of her own troubles at the moment. Plus, it would be really awkward to explain that Springpaw was making jabs at the fact that she was Hailstorm's friend... and hinting at the fact that they were more. Which they weren't! Being friends was no harm! Still, it made Mosspaw uncomfortable... "I'll be ready for the night ambush tonight, if that's why you're worried about," she added, but not in an unfriendly tone. She doubted Hollyfire needed a disappointing apprentice on her list of troubles. Maplestar would probably be watching her like a hawk....

Leafblaze sat down near the edge of camp. The usually bright, sociable she-cat wasn't feeling exactly up to the hustle and bustle going on. First, her jealousy, anger, and regret was still bubbling inside. Then the mysterious illness or something going on with Hallowpaw. She seemed mostly just....freaked out, so it confused and worried Leafblaze. Her green eyes, usually bright and filled with fire, were now troubled and dim. 'Duskclaw...what happened?" she thought miserably.

Hallowpaw relaxes slightly as she lets out a soft giggle "Great!" She looks down in emarisment, not used to acting happy around others "I-i mean good, I-i thought we would make a great team." After a long pause she looks up at the sky "Umm, when d-do you think i-it will be a full moon?"

Hailstorm glanced at Hollowpaw and Runningpaw and smiled. A friend would do her allot of good. He got closer to Springpaw and saw how ticked off she looked and decided to forgo asking them about the herbs for now. The slender silver tom headed for the fresh-kill pile and grabbed something to eat.

Hollyfire sighs, laying next to Mosspaw "Im not worried about that, Im worried about your well being" She gently licks the top of Mosspaws head in a careing way "Although you are my apprentice, I have always seen you as a little sister to me.....I know that I have let you down but I will always be there for you, you got that? I know you too well, so dont you dare think that I have too much to deal with to not beable to help you."

Stormpaw looked at Sparkpaw and nodded again. It did interest him... He just didn't say it. 

Jaggedstorm stood up and picked a mouse from the fresh-kill pile. He took it back to where he was sitting, and slowly ate it, savoring the taste. 

Runningpaw was caught off guard by the question. "Well, uh...I don't really know... I guess you could, um, look at it tonight? The moon...I mean... but you probably knew that," he said, wanting to hit himself with a stick. "I mean, it might help you, you know, guage the time. Since....you can see it..." he said, wondering why he didn't just shut up. Yeah, that sounded like a good idea... 

Leafblaze stood up, growing tired of wallowing in her own self-pity. That wasn't going to change things... She strode over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a small vole. Spotting Jaggedstorm, she flicked her tail, going over towards him. She sat down a little ways away. "Hey..." she murmured before taking a bite, testing the waters.

Mosspaw sighed and looked over at Hollyfire. "You know that means a lot to me... it really does... but this is something I have to deal with on my own," she mewed. If she ran to Hollyfire with her troubles, it might get Springpaw in trouble. As much as she relished the idea, it'd only add fuel to the fire, and she didn't want that. "But I know I can trust you... One mistake doesn't get rid of a lifetime of loyalty..." she mewed, then froze. She'd just called Hollyfire loving someone a mistake. Mosspaw didn't know how to amend that statement, so she just stayed quiet, her tail tip flicking. Awkward tension built up in Mosspaw, and she knew that even though Mosspaw did trust Hollyfire, it'd still take a little time to get back to the way things were before. If they ever would.

Hollyfire winces and sighs "I sopose to everyone ecept Wheatly and myself would consider our love a mistake but to us, it is the best thing that has ever happened to us." she closes her eyes "Mosspaw, each cat has their own way of being strong, for my sister its acting like a kit, for Tangelfoot its clinging to the good things in life.... I have lost most of my kin, brothers and sisters that have perished to death, I even watched my parents die..." She shivers slightly "so I decided to be strong by becomeing ice.... but what melts away ice is warmth" Hollyfire smiles softly "Wheatly was that warmth, I was harsh and cold to him the first time we met but he never gave up on me... and like my mother, I fell in love with a kittypet."
