Fly

Runningpaw looked at Hallowpaw, his eyes narrowing in a mixture of concern and curiosity. "W...wait... did you say regain your memories?" he mewed, lowering his voice since it seemed Hallowpaw hadn't meant to say any of that. "You mean you don't remember anything before you joined the Clan?" he asked, his eyes wide. That seemed to hit him hard, and he completely believed her. Why? He didn't remember his past either... 

(( Wow... I just realized that Runningpaw doesn't remember his past either. o.O How odd. xD ))

Leafblaze gave a small burst of laughter. "Oh boy, do I know what you mean," she purred. "Give me patrolling over hunting any day," she mewed. She wasn't a great hunter in any sense of the word....

Sparkpaw nodded"I'm just not a good fighter and it kinda scares me to think i could die so easily in a fight..." he trailed off, then got a brilliant idea. "Maybe you could help me when i practice?" he asked.

Hailstorm ate his mouse and scanned the camp, wondering if there was something he could do...

Jaggedstorm smiled. "Well, then you and I will just have to hope we run into a fox while on a hunting patrol, that way we can show our clanmates who are the real mentors here." he meowed sarcastically. 

Stormpaw blinked and he was quiet for a second. He nodded slowly. "Sure..." he was just surprised that somebody was asking help from him. 

Sparkpaw grinned. "Great!" he said. "Thank you sooo much, Stormpaw! "

Hallowpaw nods softly "Y-yes, I-i can remember a few things though.... Like the valley and voices, I-i remember my name was Hallow cirice.... It ment sacred place in our groups tounge" she lets out a small smile "They are the only things I can remember vagely....but the rest are all verry...." a small tear rolls down her face "the last memories I have of them is the attack...I dont think anyone, besides me, made it out alive.... " Hallowpaw looks at Runningpaw "our coulture is just slightly different from the clans but I guess they will be watching me from lyftclan or Starclan."

Leafblaze chuckled, flicking her tail tip. "Actually, I think I can go without fox right now," she said with a smile. 

Runningpaw listened, curiousity and interest pricking his pelt. "Wow... I'm sorry..." he murmured, genuinely sincere as she spoke about the attack. He looked up towards the right, peering through the trees that dappled the sunlight, as if they might hold answers. "And even though you might not believe me... I really do understand where you're coming from..." he murmured, but didn't dare speak of his own memory loss. He had enough trouble already without someone overhearing that. He'd offer to try and help her get her memory back... It was clear that she wanted it. But he couldn't even get his own, let alone help her... And sometimes he wondered if they hadn't lost those memories for a reason. If they wer so terrible, so wrong that the mind had shoved them to the farthest recesses and locked them away. A small frown crossed his face as he disappeared into his own world for a moment before dragging his gaze from the trees and back to Hollowpaw, blinking in slight embarrassment. He'd totally just zoned out, and right after she'd confided in him... But that didn't mean he didn't care or listen; just the opposite, in fact. It had stirred up his own thoughts and ideas on the matter...

Jaggedstorm grinned and shrugged. "I suppose that might not be the best idea.... a squirrel then? They can put up a pretty good fight sometimes!"

Stormpaw nodded slightly and the smallest of smiles crossed his face. :I'm sure you'll do fine."

Hallowpaw smiles softly "T-that means alot to me...." she blushes slightly and nuges him "Thats why I wanted to know about the moon... I wanted to sing to them...my fallen ancestors and my family" she looks into Runningpaws eyes with slight fear "Just please don't tell anyone, you and Hailstorm are the only ones I want to know about this..... Im going to tell Grasswhisker, but  Its going to be when I have too." Hallowpaw looks away "Your my first friend here... If you'll let me that is..."

Darkpaw smiles as she walks up to Firepaw "Hey, What's the matter Firepaw?"

"I sure hope so." Sparkpaw said. "Are you hungry? i know i am. Wanna get something to eat?" the long haired tom asked. Sparkpaw was almost always hungry.

Stormpaw shrugged then nodded. "Sure. I'll get us something." he meowed then walked over to the fresh-kill pile. He chose two mice then walked back, dropping one of the mice in from of Sparkpaw. 

((And who's Stormpaw's mentor?))

Hollyfire smiles at her apprentice and sighs "would you like to go train before the night ambush?" 

Firepaw sighs "Springpaws being a mousebrain and got into a fight with Mosspaw.... I tryed to help but now I think both of them are mad at me." he pouts and falls to the groud dramaticly.

Runningpaw listened and his eyes widened. "N-no! Of course not! I won't tell a single soul," he promised with a serious nod. At the end of her sentance, he gave a small smile. "I think I can live with that," he said, his face warm. Friend.... it was nice.....very nice..

Leafblaze burst out laughing before she got herself under control, although her eyes still danced with light. "Yeah, I think I could live with a mighty squirrel attacking us," she purred. 

Mosspaw looked at Hollyfire. "Oh...uh, do we have time?" she mewed, and also wondered if Hailstorm needed to get more herbs. They didn't have time to collect some earlier...

(( Oh, and a heads up Mirage. Thistlefrost gave his report about Wheatley to Maplestar.  ))

(We'll get Stormpaw a mentor here in just a little bit.)

"Thank you." Sparkpaw said before starting at the mouse. "Yum." he said blissfully before taking another bite.

((Okay, so i looked at it said Ashclaw was Stormpaw's mentor, but the problem is that he's also Sparkpaw's mentor. So I was looking at all the warriors and i was think Leafblaze. Mirage, are you cool with that or do you think another warrior would be better?))

Hallowpaw smiles softly as she looks up at him "Thank you." She streaches slightly before laying down, pulling at a lose peice of sheath "What are you thinking?"

((No real rush, I was just curious))

Jaggedstorm grinned. "I'm glad we both agree." he opened his mouth and a wide yawn escaped from his jaws. He looked around the camp and flicked his ear. 

Stormpaw nodded and ate his mouse in a few large bites. Licking his muzzle, he cleaned it of any scraps.

Leafblaze gave a small nod, smiling softly. She stretched and lay down, enjoying the warmth on her back. "Thank StarClan that it's Newleaf..." she murmured. She always enjoyed the warmer seasons... 

Runningpaw gave a soft chuckle, looking around. "Oh boy, where to begin?" he semi-joked. His mind was always thinking of something. Some off the wall, odd ball, random thought was always circulating through the young tom's mind. "Right now? Well, I was looking at the light... When it hits some of the trees around here, the light shifts and moves on the ground and flickers as it filters through the branches and budding leaves..." he murmured, his voice slowly softening. "It's like it's dancing...moving in an ever changing pattern. No rules, no routine... just freedom..." he murmured softly. It was comments like this that added to his 'oddity' label... It seemed Runningpaw saw the world in a completely different way. He saw something bigger in the tiniest things, but he didn't find that different in the least. He just didn't understand how to others, it was just....light.

Hallowpaw looks up at the light "Wow....that was....beautiful." She closes her eyes "I love it when the sun begins to set, the light changes so many beautiful colors...and when it snows it iluminates everything in its glow...its so peaceful.... like everything has been covered with warmth and love.....its like its showing everyone the wonders of the woods, like magic..." she looks at Runningpaw "your really cool Runningpaw, You remind me of...." she pauses for amoment before sighing "your like a blostma...."

((Darn, i missed that. hmmmmmm.....))

Sparkpaw ate his mouse slowly, trying to make it last longer.

Runningpaw listened in surprise to Hallowpaw. No one else thought of things like that..... Not like Hallowpaw had just did... Then a small, confused smile appeared on his face. "A blostma?" he asked with a small chuckle. "What exactly is that?"

"If we get a quick bite to eat then yes." Hollyfire smiles softly "But thats up to you weather you want to or not."
