Fly

Angelwing padded in, a mouse in her jaws. She had decided to hunt briefly before returning. Setting it on the pile, she let her blue gaze roam the camp before sitting down and grooming her ginger fur.

"I saw him when I came out of the nursery, just a few minutes ago." She was very worried but was grateful for her clanmates helpfulness. She looked around, Eaglekit staying close by her side.

Duskclaw's fur bristled at the disturbance, hearing the distress in the she-cat's voice. Standing up, he listened to Briarrose and the other tom talk to the Queen, knowing that too many cats may distress her more.

Runningpaw picked his way into camp with Shadowkit dangling from his jaws. He saw Ravenfeather with a crowd of cats. 'Well, turns out they know he's gone...' he murmured. Feeling uneasy, he made his way towards the group. "Wabenfeder..." It was supposed to be Ravenfeather, but with the kit in his jaws, it came out muffled.

Ravenfeather turned, gasped and bolted the rest of the distance to Runningpaw. "Thank you, Runningpaw!" She purred and smiled at him. Eaglekit ran over to her mother then looked at Shadowkit. She was happy he was back. Eaglekit smiled at Runningpaw.

Shadowkit was limp and unhappy. He didn't want to be in camp. He scowled.

Hailstorm was thrown even more off balanced and fell. He got to his paws and sighed. "Thyme..." he mumbled, heading for his den and grabbed a leaf of thyme and headed towards Ravenfeather. "Here." he said, setting it down. "Please nibble on this." he knew the queen was already getting calmed down, still the moment could have traumatized the she-cat a little bit. It never hurt to be too careful.

Ravenfeather nodded and nibbled on the thyme. Once she was done, she smiled, happy, but a little angry that Shadowkit had snuck out, who wouldn't be angry?! Eaglekit sat next to her mother, tail curled around her paws, sitting daintier than usual.

Runningpaw flicked his tail tip and set down Shadowkit. "Er, your welcome. Anyone would've brought him back if they'd found him..." He gave a small nod, shuffling his paws. 

Mosspaw rolled to her paws, a bit disappointed that Hailstorm's and her's skirmish was interrupted. Still, it had been an emergency, but at least Shadowkit was safe now. She looked at Runningpaw, flicking her tail. So the odd apprentice had saved the kit...

Ravenfeather nodded, smiling. "I suppose." She mewed. She curled her tail around Eaglekit. Shadowkit huffed and padded over to her mother's side. His tail lashed back and forth, glaring at Runningpaw.

Wheatley padded behind Willowwater, matching paw for paw with Hollyfure as they made their way into the camp. He glanced around nervously, silently hating that he was a pretty tall cat who towered over pretty much over everybody. He stayed very close to Hollyfire, knowing that some cats looked at him with distrust.

Duskclaw frowned slightly, though he gave the benefit of the doubt and nodded his head to the newcomer, glancing back over at Willowwater. "Who is this?" He asked, his voice level.

Willowwater is about to speak but Hollyfire beats her to it "This is Wheatley" she murmers his name softly but she holds herself noblely with an icy edge "He was abandoned by his twolegs and wishes to join the clan, do you have a problem with that?" Hollyfire gives Duskclaw a frosty glare as she rests her tail on Wheatleys shoulder. (Holly is verry protective of the people she loves and is devencive about kittypets cause her papa was one.) 

Willowwater nods and grins, taking Hollyfires warning to shut up. Though she lets out a mewl of surprize when she notices Tangelfoot sitting next to her, jumping clear over Wheatley and Hollyfire "I swear to Starclan, HOW ON EARTH DO YOU DO THAT?" 

Wheatley smiles softly but then chuckles as he sees what happened to Willowwater, wondering who this cat was. Was he Tanglefoot? 

Duskclaw stepped back and silently sighed, knowing it might have come out bad. "There isn't anything wrong with that. I just wanted to know so I can tell out leader. He/She will probably want to know."

Hollyfire nods "I was just about to do that, I see that you all sorted out patrols without me....Im sorry I didnt say anything before I left. But who's bright idea was it to put Willowwater in charge of one?"

Tangelfoot smiles "Just because Im an elder doesnt mean Im old and unable to train by myself, I thought I taught you that by now.... Afterall I was the cat that trained you..." He glances over at Wheatley and chuckles "Hollyfire definitely takes after her mother." he murmers to him self "Its nice to meet you wheatley, Im Tangelfoot. I see you have met my kin, Hollyfire and Willowwater. " He stands up and does an acwkward side shuffle so hes in frount of Wheatley.

Miststorm Padded out of the Warrior's den, eyes dull.

(Ok, I'll roleplay the leader, I guess. His name shall be....... Maplestar)

A large, chocolate colored tom came out of the Leader's den, amber eyes bright as he heard the commotion. The long-legged tom padded over to the cats gathered around Wheatley, then raised his lips slightly as he noticed the stranger. "Who is this?" Maplestar asked curtly, eyes boring into the loner. "Why is a stranger in our camp?"

Briarrose felt her eyes soften as the kit was returned, then blinked. The beautfiul she-cat glanced at Thistlefrost, narrowing her blue eyes softly, then stepped lightly over to the cats gathering in the middle, curiously observing the new tom. What a wierd accent, she thought with slight distaste, and messy fur...

Skyfleck stayed next to Willowwater the whole time, worried slightly as Maplestar padded up. The leader tends to be hostile to outsiders.... This might not end well.

"Willowwater!" Copperpaw meowed as she bounded into camp, panting "I went to the stream then came here, and WHO is THAT!!" Copperpaw stared up at Wheatly, Great StarClan, he's HUGE! She thought, then another thought went through her mind, I hope no-one has to fight him.....

Hailstorm scrutinized Wheatly, searching him for any signs of illness or wounds. He didn't want this kittypet to bring any sickness to his Clan. If Maplestar decided he could join, Hailstorm would give him a check-up.

Mosspaw looked over as her mentor came in....with some stranger. She flicked her tail, examining Wheatley. At Hollyfire's defensive tone, she felt a small flash of anger go through her. 'So she's been spending time with this....loner!' she thought. She couldn't help but to feel jealous...and slefishly so. Mosspaw had been stuck in camp since her mentor hadn't been around at all today to take her out... 

Thistlefrost returned Briarrose's glance, flicking his tail tip. His bright, silver eyes were calculating as he looked this Wheatley character over. Hollyfire seemed to know this tom quite well.... especially with the way she was looking around as if her Clanmates were the enemies here. With a glance at Maplestar, he gave another  flick of his tail. "My, my... Won't this be interesting," he murmured to himself. 

Runningpaw looked around at Wheatley and the others in surprise. 'What the heck? That cat sure does talk funny!' he thought to himself. He then heard Maplestar's voice and wariness crept into his eyes. This could turn out badly...
