Fly

In the of heart of the darkest alleyways of the city, you'll find the camp of the Phoenix Rogues. 

A dark shadow in the edge of the alley flickered as Shadowseer shifted, intelligent green eyes focused on a point somewhere in the distance. The chief Assassin blinked once and slowly as he lifted his unimpressive, average frame from the box he was sitting on. His eyes narrowed dangerously as he surveyed the silent camp. He nodded briefly to the only other cat up, Devileyes, and left the camp, unnoticeably keeping an eye on the unpredictable Demon in case she decided she was in a bad mood.

Devileyes nodded shortly at her fellow ruler, oblivious to any feelings of distrust between them. Seeing no one up to bully, she let out a grumpy sigh and settled back down, keeping one disturbingly bright amber eyes open as she lightly dozed.

Reed nestled along the shadows near her mentor, her eyes closed but her mind running and calculating her surrondings. She was becoming more of a spy amoungst their midsts. She had told Blackstar what she was to do. She was to stay to this plan. But should she? When had someone ever looked out for her? Cared for her in the slightest? She gave a small shake of her head to clear her thoughts. Her eyes spotted Nobody along the shadows as well, thoughts spinning in her head as she remembered him. He was her closest companion....well at least the one she trusted the most. He was there for her.

Nobody glanced up at the sky The sky is so diffrent here... He lets out a soft sigh and sinks his face back into the shadows of a newspaper he had fallen asleep under. As much as I love my kin, I cant go back to the clan... I cant go back to the fear of queens when I go near their kits like I ave a sickness..... The rouges maybe assassins but they dont care about my past like the clan did...

"Morning." Necromancer murmured, appearing next to Devileyes. "I've not checked up on your assassins lately, Shadowseer, how are they doing?" he sat perfectly still, eyes fixed one their misreble little group of cats. They needed training and lots of it. that would help a little at least...

Used to his appearing out of seemingly nowhere, Devileyes gave a nod and a quiet 'Morning' back, opening her other eye and sitting up. She idly unsheathed her claws as he conversed with the other Demon, admiring the delicate sharpness and ruthless killing power they gave her. Yes...many a cat had fallen at her feet because of these flawless weapons. But not lately, she realized with a frown. She's probably going soft.

Shadowseer looked over from his perch a foxlength away and leaped off to join the two. "Severely out of practice," he commented in his expressive, winning voice, "They are desperately in need of a mission to whip them into shape. How are your three little ones?" His cold green eyes surveyed the camp for the kits. He was always surprised to see them, forgetting that the camp had kits for the first time.

Necromancer focused on the three furry kits, all bundled together and still sleeping. "The kits are fine. They all show promise, i think with the proper training they'll be very impressive." He turned his gaze to Shadowseer. "I've seen the assassins training, but i would like to put their skills to the test.

(( Mirage, did you still plan on everything with the kits? And did you still want to the people to have them before play them now? I didn't know if you wanted to give them to knew people or not now. ))

Kaiyuki stood in shadows, a respectful distance away from the leaders so as not to intervene with their conversation. Her green eyes flickered back and forth as she scanned the clearing, looking for Nevermore, her mentor.

(I really don't know a lot of the plot. Dandy filled me in with some of it, but I'm still trying to get used to owning my own site again before worrying too much about it. Unless a person does not want their kit, I guess the same people can keep RPing them. Sorry for my unhelpfulness xD)

A tiny glimmer of some variety of excitement appeared in Shadowseer's stony emerald eyes, but disappeared in a flash, as his lips curved up lightly to display his teeth in his personal version of a smile."They will be able to complete any mission you set before them, I assure you."

Nevermore slithered through the shadows toward Kaiyuki, not making a noise. He manuved through the shadows so he would be behind Kai, then He threw an attack at her, wanting to see if she was fast enough to block. (Hey Kei, you still wanna have Kaiyuki train with Silence every now and then?)

Necromancer fixed his gaze on Kaiyuki and Nevermore, finding the it somewhat amusing. "the ravens tell me the clan is growing." he told Shadowseer. "I want them to get a good, solid count. I want to know how many kits and elders, how many apprentices and their abilities, and how many warriors and what their strengths, and if possible, weaknesses are. It's more of a mission for a spy, really, but Kaiyuki has done spy work in the clan before so she knows how they work." He smiled ever so slightly. "And i don't want the clan to even suspect that they're being watched.

(( Sure. ))

Kai was looking around, but she couldn't spot Nevermore anymore. Then again, hardly everyond did. Suddnly, there was a flash of quick movement to her back-left. Instinctively, she whirled around, ducking in the process. She gave a small hiss as she felt it nick the tips of her ears, but she didn't pause. 'I need to be faster!' she thought as she flashed out her own paw, green eyes flashing.

Nevermore, instead of moving back, pressed foreward. He moved in close and gripped Kai's scuff in his teeth. What would she do?

Kaiyuki let out a growl, her first instinct to yank herself away. But that's not what she did. She moved backwards, jerking her head back in an attept to slam her head and neck into her attacker, whom she had ssumed was Nevermore. If it worked, it'd be way more painful for him than it would be for her.

Nevermore jerked his head back and rolled sideways, coming to his paws in a crouch, going on the defensive.

With her scruff free, Kaiyuki jumped backwards into the shadows to get a quick survey. It was Nevermore, crouched and at the ready. Using the shadows to make her pelt flicker in the light and dark, she leaped foreward, but intentionally jumped short. Then she snaked a paw upwards and lunged upwards, hoping to slam under his chin in an uppercut motion. One of Silence's moves, but with claws sheathed.

Nevermore shifted his weight onto his haunches and started to rear up. He clenched his jaw and let Kai's blow hit him. At the same time he thrust himself upward. He spun in the air and landed lightly, working his jaw. "not bad." he said, sitting up. "Good strike. it's interesting how you use shadow and light to hide yourself. And that attack..." he murmured the last part, a thoughtful expression crossing his face for a milisecond before it became his normal mask. "It wasn't bad."

Shadowseer watched the training in silence, slight approval flashing in his eyes for the training Assasin. Hesitating slightly, he replied in an uncertain, almost nervous sounding voice, "But hasn't she already done some spy work? They'll know her scent and remember her." He sighed, a depressed sound, "We really need to get the Spy unit up and running." Throughout all of his speech, his eyes remained hard and cold, completely opposite of how he sounded.

Devileyes watched the fighting with interest, unconciously kneading the trash beneath her as she imagined the sight of the cats training with claws unsheathed. Oh, such a glorious fight that would be...

"Yes, that's the tricky part."  Necromancer  said in reply. "They would need to mask their scents and be very careful." he looked steadily at Shadowseer. "what are your thoughts on this mission and how to get some spies?"

Shadowseer closed his eyes gently and tilted his head, then asked, "How old are your kits again? It might be possible to send one with a female." He opened his eyes and the plan became clearer in his mind. This could work, if the kit wasn't too impressionable..

"Clever. The kits are about a moon old." Necromancer turned his gaze back the the cluster of fluffy kittens. "the issue is finding a she-cat that they've never seen before. One who can act. I can ask Johanna and see if she knows someone..." he trailed off, thinking. ((I randomly played Johanna awhile back to provide entertainment for the rogues. she brought a group of cats, pretended she was going to fight the rogues, then when the battle started she attacked her own cats. she said that was how she got rid of annoying and stupid cats that bothered her. The Demons know her))
