Fly

Kaiyuki nodded, glad for the praise. "Thank you, Nevermore." she murmured with a dip of her head. "How's your jaw?" she asked with a small smile. She rolled her neck where it was sore from where Nevermore had grabbed her scruff.

"Fine." he replied quickly with a slight smile. "Now, if you can't block or dodge a blow, you should know how to use it's momentum, like i did with your's. give me an example."

Kai nodded, then decided she'd give a more challenging blow to use the momentum with. But she didn't doubt her mentor. She crouched down and then leaped at Nevermore, paws outstretched.

Reed watched the battled, her golden green eyes narrowed slightly as her paws itched for battle...or at least a fight. Her mentor was nowhere to be seen at the moment....probably out hunting or something. Picking herself up from where she was laying, she moved over to Nobody, pushing him slightly to get his attention. "Hey." She murmered for only his ears, knowing that she shouldn't show her emotions infront of the others. 

Shadowseer nodded his approval of the idea. "Yes, she might know someone. But... I don't know if we can entrust just anyone with this task." He closed his eyes, thinking back to older days, when he was in training. He could've sworn there was another she-cat training with him... But if only he could remember her name

Nevermore started to shift his weight backwards and moved so that her paws would hit him squarely on the chest. Normally her attack would have forced him onto his back, however he used her momentum to propel himself into a backwards sumersault, using his back legs to push his apprentice off him

Necromancer nodded. "Johanna tends to do whatever benefits her the mosts. I'll pay her a surprise visit later."

Kaiyuki felt Nevermore's back legs push into her and suddenly she was flying. Twisting in the air, she landed on lightly on her paws in a crouch. "With claws I could see where that'd easily give you the upper hand," she mewed, eager to try it.

Nevermore nodded. "Yes. It works best with cats that have powerful attacks, who use allot of momentum. Your turn." he meowed. he dashed for the wall, leaped and bounced off of it, coming at Kai from above.

Kai had to think fast on this one. She couldn't jump up and meet him in air. He'd just slam her down. So instead, she waited until he was almost upon her and she flipped over onto her back. When he hit, she attempted to roll over at the same and kick outwards at the same time to propel him in the direction he had been going.

Nobody glances up at Reed "hmm?" he looks up at her with narrow eyes "What is it?"

"Nothing furball." Reed said and glanced around. "Am I not allowed to talk to you?" 

Nobody sits up "Im not implying that... Im just surprized your talking to me...."

"Well....You are an apprentice like I am. We need to stick together you know." Reed said in a voice a tiny bit above a whisper.

"why should I trust you? Ive only been here four days and I already know its every cat for themselves here....its not like the clan here....." Nobody looks away and a faint glimer of sadness reflects in his eyes.

"Because...who else is there to trust?" Reed told Nobody, trying to look into his eyes to show him he could. Seeing that sadness, she made a promise to herself. She was going to get this tom out, she could see the misery at leaving had cost him. "I'm not like the others." She whispered.

"I dont think that you would want to hang out with a murderer...." Nobody looks into her eyes "i dout you want to hang around someone who destroyed others lives."

"Why are you a murderer? I mean....We are the Pheonix Rogues. We do that everyday" She asked, her eyes narrowed as she waited for him to tell her. "My father was a murderer. That doesn't stop me from looking at what he did with a positive eye. ."

"My being born early caused my mother and father to get hit by a twoleg monster, I shoved my uncle into a fox trap, and ruined my sisters lives.... i figured that here id make everyone happy...." Nobody looks at Reed with sadness. "Im nothing but bad luck, I sugest you stay away from me..."

Nevermore was launched away from and Kai. He landed neatly and nodded. "Good. That attack is harder to use that tecnique with, i wanted to see how you would handle a harder one."

Forever trotted into the alley, tail lashing. She sulked over towards Reed and waited a reasonable distance away for her apprentice to finish her conversation. It was obvious the she-cat  was in a foul mood.

Aigan sauntered in, plopping down at the foot of a box crate as he licked his lips. They were slightly bloodstained from his recent meal of rat. He glanced at Forever, yawning as he idly wondered what she was all angry about.
