Snakebite chuckles darkly "I guess I came back at the right time, Its never been this lively around here in moons....."

(Hey Kei, did you see Mirror's post for Shatter?)

Forever sighed. "Not lately." she said in a bored tone. "It's been sooo boring. I try to liven things up every now and then, but it doesn't particularly work all the time." she rolled her sky blue eyes. "We've had no exercises, no fights, not even a mission. You guys are the first thing that's happened to us that's been reletively amusing in awhile." she looked around camp and got an idea. "I should introduce you to everyone. You know Necromancer, Shadowseer, and Devileyes of course, and you can get aquainted with Necromancer's three kits later. Those three are just like their father, it's fairly scary. The girls are Mirror and Shatter and the tomkit is Nox." she said, looking around the alley. "This is my apprentice, Reed." she said, smiling at the younger cat before moving towards Copper and Bracken. "Afternoon, boys." she said merrily to the two toms. "This is Rose." she said.

Nevermore sighed. Forever was acting rather hyper, which wasn't surprising. She got bored very easily, so now that she had something to do, she was excited.

Nobody slinks out of the shadows and streaches, his face was blank but on the inside he was dying to do anything. Bored, bored,bored. Where is Shark? I haven't seen him for days.....

Shatter blinked in surprised, but quickly caught on to her sister's idea. She rushed after her, her eyes flickering with a challenge. She had to get into it for it to be believeable. Shatter wasn't one for random fun, but tag had its own things that it could train. And if Shatter pretended that it was a competition, well, that'd definately be believable. Sprinting, she darted into a small pipe that ran along the ground, running in a low crouch. She could hear Mirror outside and sped up as she saw the light at the end. Shatter burst out, tackling Mirror. "You're it!" she said, grinning before taking off, all the more while moving further and further away from the group. 

Rose blinked, following after Forever. She glanced back at Nevermore before making her way over to Copper and Bracken. She gave a small nod to them, quickly assessing them. From the closeness of their proximity to each other, it was clear that they were close and knew each other well. They both shared some features, so Rose assumed they were brothers, especially since they appeared the same age. Bracken was the larger of the two, but Copper's eyes had a keen sharpness to them. Rose took in all those details, and more, in a few seconds. Rose may be the better fighter between her and Slate, but she could probably be bested by pretty much everyone here. They were all trained, after all. Her main weapon was her mind and quick thinking, and for that you had to be aware of your surroundings.

Mirror grinned in return and ran after her sister before darting under a dumpter and manuvering through the piles of trash before coming out in front of Shatter and jabbing at her with a paw before twirling around and taking off.

Shatter rushed after Mirror, pelting along. Spotting something farther up ahead, she put on a burst of speed. She had to catch Mirror to get her to follow. Pelting along, she focused on just running and breathing, putting all her focus into it. Slowly, she began to advance, and she leaped to hit Mirror's tail tip. She didn't waste breath to call your it as she took off. Seing the dumpster, she darted under it. Then, she went around the corner that it was right in front of . She slowed down and looked over at Mirror, her ears perked for any signs of cats calling them back. She breathed heavily from the constant sprinting.

Mirror burst after Shatter, ducking under the dumpster and slowing down. She slipped up next to Shatter and smiled, proud they had worked as a team to get out. She then took in her surroundings and scented the air. So man new smells! monsters, twolegs, trash, dirty water, and many she couldn't identify. (To the city?)

(Since she hasn't been on lately, would someone else like to take him over until Scarlett gets back?)

Insanity just growled in reply, a low, gutteral sound more common in foxes or dogs than cats. HIs empty eyes narrowed to slits, and the large white tom took a slow step towards Slate. "So, you are a coward?" he snarled, lips hitched high to reveal cruel teeth.

Nevermore twitched his tail as he watched Insanity and Slate. How interesting...

Bracken blinked and looked at Rose, giving her a small nod. "Welcome to the rouges. Keep your eyes peeled. Some cats here aren't what they appear to be. " he meowed deeply in warning. 

Copper looked at the new she-cat and nodded, giving her a small smile, then rolled his green eyes. "Don't mind him. He gets a little too paranoid sometimes, but I suppose that doesn't hurt anything. You met my brother, Bracken. He can be a grouch, but don't let him get to you." Bracken snorted and gave his brother a soft nudge of affection. "And I'm Copper. If you ever need anything or want to talk, we're all ears." Copper enjoyed meeting new cats, especially ones that he didn't have to rip to shreds.

Shatter shared a grin with Mirror and then took a deep breath, her eyes scanning the area. This was the furthest she'd ever been. And she was about to go further. "Come on, let's go..." she said, her voice calm, although excitement buzzed in her eyes as she drank the new scents, sounds, and sights in. 

Rose looked at Bracken, flicking her ear before Copper spoke. She gave a small smile. "Yeah, there's nothing wrong with being wary," she mewed with a shrug. "It might just save your tail one day," she mewed in understanding. "And thanks, Copper. So how long have you two been a part of the Phoenix Rogues?" she asked. Everyone seemed so sure of themselves, sure of their place. She hoped one day that she could feel like she truly had earned her place... 

Slate looked up at Insanity, and suddenly, his fear pushed back by his bubbling anger. He took a step towards Insanity, eyes glowing with fury. "No one calls me a coward," he hissed. "Especially not some old, washed up, know-it-all, fool." he hissed through clenched teeth. After he spoke, a small part in the back of his mind was screaming at him to run, and run fast. But the wave of anger blocked his rational thoughts. Slate's temper might make him brave, but it made him equally foolish.

Bracken flicked his tail for Copper to answer.

Copper glanced at his brother before looking back at Rose. "It's hard to remember.... it's been awhile, that's for sure. We were abandoned by our parents, and left to survive on our own. When we found the Pheonix Rouges, we were eager to join and did so. We've been here ever since." hr shrugged his shoulders at the end. "I'm sure you'll fit right in." 

Rose gave a small smile at Copper's kindness. "Thanks. I'll sure try," she said, flicking her tail. "I came here with my brother, Slate. He's over..." she mewed, and looked over to find her  brother nose to nose with Insanity. Her smile drooped and she tensed. "Oh, Slate you mouse-brain!!" she hissed under her breath. Couldn't he stop causing trouble for more than a few minutes?!

Forever listened to the cats exchange pleasantries, then she herself turned to look at the two toms. "Oh dear." Forever said, more out of interest then worry. Then she thought that if she and Nevermore were new, and if he wasn't the deadly fighter he is now, and if he was facing off against a very dangerous tom, then she would be horribly frightened. "I'll help you stop the fight if it turns into anything bad." she offered to Rose.

Nevermore flicked his ears as he heard Forever's words and sighed. she had said them knowing he would hear because he hears almost everything. He would then have to help stop the fight himself just to make sure Forever didn't get herself killed. And yes, he actually would be worried for her life if she decided to charge in and try to stop the unavoidable fight. Insanity looked like he would be fool enough to take on a badger by himself at this moment, and Nevermore wouldn't be surprised if Insanity actually won against the badger.

Necromancer turned to look at the fight, very interested. This tom had seemed very different when he was being tested, now he was asking for a fight. How very interesting.

Rose gave a small, curt nod to Forever. "That would be appreciated," she murmured. Worry was visible in her eyes as she looked at Slate. He was already badly wounded from his fight with Devileyes... He seriously needed to learn how to swallow his pride before it got him killed.

Copper glanced at Slate and narrowed his eyes in concern. Just joined the clan and already fighting? He heard Forever and meowed, "I wouldn't mind stepping in, either. I've had to do it before." he meowed with a cheeky grin at Bracken. He knew that his brother had a temper, and it didn't take much for him to blow.

Bracken snorted and rolled his eyes. "I always win." he meowed in amusement. "It's the other cat that you should be helping in those situations." 

Rose looked over at Bracken as he spoke, and was surprised at the humor in his words. "Really?" she mewed, giving a small lopsided grin. "Every time?" she mewed cheekily, flicking her tail before looking back at Slate and Insanity. Watching the bristling toms, her smile fell again.

"Oh that's only because Bracken loses his temper with cats that he knows he can win against." she said cheerily. "He's never lost his temper with Nevermore or any of the other cats that can dance in circles around him in a fight." She said, glancing back and flashing a smile at Bracken.

Rose grinned along with Forever, since currently the toms were merely at a stand off. Hopefully one of them would walk away; but it'd probably have to be Insanity, knowing her hard-headed brother. "Well, that's a smart tactic then," she said with a small chuckle.

The small black tom blinked his emerald eyes open. He had stayed up late the night before and slept in. Where were his sisters? He wondered where they had gotten off too. He looked around the alley for them, then when he was sure they weren't there he looked at everyone else and quickly deduced two toms were getting into a fight and most everyone was watching; Kei, a new she-cat, Forever, Nevermore, Bracken, Copper, and Necromancer. Nox watched his father, simply because he could.
